BMW Motorcycles of Las Vegas and BMW racer Nate Kern will compete in the WERA WEST races at California Speedway this upcoming weekend. BMW Motorcycles of Las Vegas is under new ownership and looking to broaden their exposure in the sportbike market. With four CCS Natl. Championships, Nate Kern is also the CCS Mid Atlantic and Southeast Overall # 1 plate holder for a second consecutive season, racing a BMW R1200S and K1200R. This off season race will be Kern’s first time racing on the west coast. “I’m excited to have the chance to prove the BMW’s credibility as a serious sport twin.” Nate also added that he is very excited to share the success he has had on the east coast with west coast BMW motorcycle owners. Kern was one of the three riders on the San Jose BMW winning team in the Sun Trust Moto-ST “8 Hours at Daytona” inaugural race this past fall.
