Main Line BMW to Defend Mid Atlantic/Southeast Championships in CCS DEVON, PA (February 28, 2006)- Main Line BMW is proud to return to the roadracing scene with 2005 multiple CCS Champion, Nate Kern. Going into our second season of roadracing, Nate is out to prove once again that “you cannot judge a book by it’s cover” with the new K12R Power Cup race-prepped motorcycle. Further development on the K12R, along with a host of new performance parts, will back up its first test results from the Race Of Champions last October, where Kern finished an impressive 10th in Unlimited Supersport, regardless of the K12R having no fairing and being shaft driven. Nate attributes the majority of his success to the teams and riders of the former BMW Motorrad Boxer Cup, as well as last year’s Power Cup. The one off factory ride during the Czech Grand Prix Power Cup weekend in 2005 allowed Kern to see the bike’s true potential, and he’s ready to back up his # 1 plate on yet another underestimated machine. After some off-season training at the Freddie Spencer School, along with the great support we are receiving from BMW Germany and BMW North America, Main Line BMW Racing is already showing signs of another great season!
