After campaigning two successful seasons racing in the RFME ESBK (Campeonato de España de Superbike) Spanish Superbike championship in the Moto4 and Premoto3 categories, 14 year old Japanese-American Kensei Matsudaira is set to make his debut in the FIM JuniorGP World Championship this week with the Snipers IgaX Team.
Competing in the European Talent Cup category, Kensei’s first race will be round 2 of the championship in Jerez, Spain on June 1st.
Kensei completed a 2-day test with the team in Jerez last week where he was immediately up to a competitive pace and is confident for his start in the championship.

Kensei Matsudaira:
“Getting to the ETC has been one of my goals for a long time and I’m super happy to be able to make it a reality this year. I know the level will be very high, but I’m ready and excited for the challenge. Jerez is one of my favorite circuits so I’m especially excited to be able to race there in my first ETC round.”
The 7-round 2025 FIM JuniorGP World Championship began May 4th in Estoril, Portugal and will continue through the final round in Valencia, Spain on November 23rd.
