Kennedy Replaces Brady As CEO Of Triumph Motorcycles America

NEWNAN, Georgia Triumph Motorcycles (America) Ltd., is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Kennedy as their new CEO effective July 1st, 2006. This includes the responsibility for all of Triumph’s operations in the US and Canada. Mr. Kennedy replaces Mark Brady who recently left the US subsidiary of Triumph Motorcycles to pursue new opportunities after 15 years with the firm. Mr. Brady played a key role in Triumph’s growth in the US over the last 5 years, and Triumph would like to thank him for his efforts and wishes him well in his new endeavors. Mark Kennedy joined Triumph 15 years ago as an operator on the assembly line and has worked his way up through the organization. Over the last 5 years, Mark has been the CEO of Triumph Motorcycles S.A. (TSA), the subsidiary company responsible for Triumph’s operations in France and Switzerland. Under Mark’s leadership, TSA has been transformed into one of Triumph’s highest performing subsidiary companies with a very strong team that delivered retail sales growth of 46% in 2005. Mark’s experience and proven track record from France and Switzerland will be great assets as he leads Triumph to the next level in the US. Triumph will continue its global strategy centered on an aggressive new model plan and dealer improvement program. Triumph has introduced at least 2 new models in each of the last 3 years and has plans to continue to do so for the next several years. This year’s new models included the Incomparable Daytona 675 middleweight sports bike and the new Scrambler 900 Modern Classic.
