Slowdeath Ducati Races to Punk Rock Victory Fans of 3-chord hardcore punk such as SS Decontrol, the F.U.’s, Discharge, and Entombed, as well as Ducati motorcycle racing may be interested in the musical and motorcycle roadracing endeavors of 3 chord hardcore band Slowdeath. In March, the Moebius Palindrome record label, home of Slowdeath, signed distribution agreements with Century Media Records and Relapse Records, two giants in the heavy music industry. Label owner and racer Ed Milich: “Century Media and Relapse both have outstanding histories of effectively exposing new artists in the loud music scene. I’m proud to be able to work with them in gaining wider exposure for Slowdeath’s music and the Moebius Palindrome label”. The Slowdeath sponsored Ducati 650ss is the current #1 Plate Holder in AHRMA’s Vintage Superbike Middleweight class.The bike, piloted by Moebius Palindrome owner and Slowdeath founder Ed Milich, finished on the podium on both days of the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA)’s 2007 Bike Week Races in Daytona, Florida in March 2007. More recently, it won two races during the Corsa Moto Classica at Willow Springs in April. The bike is also the 2006 Vintage Lightweight Class Champion machine with the Willow Springs Motorcycle Club (WSMC). The Slowdeath Ducati ridden by Ed Milich will continue to race monthly at Willow Springs in Southern California and at upcoming AHRMA events at Mid Ohio and Barber Motorsports.
