Yamaha ChampionsRidingSchool to Share Two Dates with Graves Yamaha at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Great opportunity for students to observe a professional racing team test TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (November 16, 2010) “” The Yamaha Champions Riding School, based at Miller Motorsports Park, will be sharing track time at its first two 2010-2011 winter schools at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the Graves Yamaha AMA Pro Racing team. Graves Yamaha, which fields teams for 2010 AMA American SuperBike series champion Josh Hayes and Daytona SportBike series standout and 2010 Daytona 200 winner Josh Herrin, will be testing components for its 2011 campaign on November 22-23 and December 9-10. The Graves Yamaha riders will alternate track time with students from the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and it is expected that they will spend some time with the class to discuss their riding techniques. Also, this is a chance to see how an AMA factory race team operates and what goes into racing at this level. Students may have the chance to get a tour of the team trucks and meet other members of the race team. “This is a great opportunity for our students to meet, observe and interact with a professional, championship-winning racing team,” said Nick Ienatsch, lead instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School. “We have worked with both Josh Hayes and Josh Herrin before, and they have been very generous with our program. Our relationship with Yamaha has allowed us to bring in a number of professional Yamaha riders such as Ben Spies, Scott Russell, James Toseland, Ben Bostrom and Brandon Currie, and their input has been invaluable for riders looking to maximize their street and track riding potential.” “Las Vegas is one of those destinations everyone wants to visit,” said Hayes, “especially as winter sets in across the country. Team tests are not generally open to the public, so this is a rare chance to come hang out with us and see what the Graves Yamaha Team is all about. Just sign up for one of these two classes and come out and have a great time riding, get some serious skills and enjoy ‘Fabulous Las Vegas.'” For more information about the Yamaha ChampionsRiding School, go to www.MMPSchools.com or call Dwight Allen at 435.27SPEED (277-7333).
