Hickory Corners, MI (July 2, 2013) GP Tech Team, owned and managed by Geoff Maloney, is proud to announce that it will compete in the Moto2 class at the Indianapolis round of the MotoGP series scheduled for August 16-18 on the latest-spec Tech 3 Mistral 610. Maloney’s Wild Card entry will be current AMA Pro Daytona SportBike rider James Rispoli. Rispoli, the 2011 and 2012 AMA Pro National SuperSport Champion is currently fifth in points in his rookie AMA Pro Daytona SportBike season after three rounds. Rispoli was chosen for numerous reasons including his aggressive style and personable attitude making an impression both on and off the track.

Maloney comments, “It’s great to be able to field a Moto2 wild card entry in 2013. With the support of Tech 3 equipment and more enthusiastic sponsors like 1-855czaialaw.com, we are going to be able to put in a first-class effort. I am equally excited to bring on the services of young gun rider James Rispoli. I have seen James excel over the years and when I started looking around to see who would be good for the job his name kept rising to the top of my list. The goal of my program has always been to expose American talent to an International audience and I am sure James is going do us all proud and really enjoy the ride.”

“Unbelievable,” stated Rispoli. “Honestly, this could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I look forward to doing everything I can to absorb everything I can learn and become an even better rider from this experience. I am excited and so very thankful to Geoff Maloney for considering me for this ride. I am grateful to my team, National Guard/Celtic Racing for allowing me to take this one-off ride, and I can’t thank my personal sponsor Monster Energy enough for all their support and coordination to help make this happen. I’m training hard, reviewing video from past Indy races and can’t wait to get on with the first test.” GPtech 2013 Moto 2 Sponsors: 1-855-CzaiaLaw.com injury attorney, Canet, Ohlins, Dunlop, Rising Sun Cycles, Motion Pro, Yoyodyne, Motoheaven, Chickenhawk, Pole Position Travel, Four Feathers, Pitbull, Techspec, Thrust, Speedcell, Thermosman, Medical Data Carrier, MotoSpec, Worldwide Bearings, Millennium, Webcam, JE pistons, KWS, VP fuels.
