Saturday’s Daytona SportBike race at Barber Motorsports Park started out great for Yamaha Extended Service/Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha rider Garrett Gerloff, who was in the lead until the contest was red-flagged. On the restart, Garrett slotted his #8 R6 into second place, and he was going for the lead again when an incident sent him off the track. He suffered a hairline fracture of his wrist and had to sit out the rest of the race, as well as Sunday’s DSB race 2. Watch as Garrett describes his day.
