Bedfordshire Police will be launching their new “Ride Safe” rider assessment scheme and road safety officers from Bedfordshire and Luton will be launching “First Ride” – a brand new course for people to planning to take their Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) within the next few months. Carl said: “Whatever reason you ride – for sport, leisure or to get to and from work – safety should always comes first. And safety is as much about attitude as skills It’s important to keep your bike safe, wear the right protective gear and keep improving your riding skills. But having the right attitude toward safety is where it all starts. That’s the message I want to get across and why I’m really looking forward to joining riders on the 21st in Dunstable.” A number of other appearances are also being planned, so please check this website for more details.
