Ramin Ershadi, former rider, racer, and all-around nice guy passed on Sunday, July 1 at Hoag Hospital, in Newport Beach, California, following a two-year battle with cancer. Ramin introduced me to the racetrack via track days in 1998. I subsequently pulled him into the racing scene. We had many great adventures to the track together.

He raced with CCS back when they were on the west coast and, more recently, with CVMA.

He is survived by his wife, Denise; his mother, and two sisters. He has many relatives in the LA area and will be greatly missed.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
