Chris Carr Rocks in the Rain at PJ Jacobsen’s Endurance Race The weather report said it was going to rain, and for a couple hours Saturday night at Oakland Valley Race Park in Cuddebackville, New York it did just that. But the threat of rain did nothing to deter over 60 racers on 22 teams from converging for PJ Jacobsen’s F150 4-Hour Endurance Race. Grand National Champion Chris Carr and teammate Chuck Seguine finished the race in Third Place riding the WeissRacing.com 150. The onset of rain seemed to bring out the best of Chris’s rugged dirt-track style, as he and the other racers endured the challenging track conditions. Showing why he is the gentleman-ambassador of the sport, Chris joked with fans and fellow riders about how much more fun it is in the rain. Carr later said, “I can’t wait to come up here and do this again.” He won’t have long to wait- PJ’s MotoPromotions, in conjunction with Bob Weiss of Weiss Racing and Tim Hannen of OVRP, will be presenting the final F150 4 Hour of the season on Sunday, October 27th. In keeping with the tradition of the series, this riders-race will be a Memorial Race to honor a fallen brother-rider. More details to come.
