Fores On Pole, American Noyes Fourth In Qualifying For Spanish 1000cc Formula Extreme Race At Valencia

Round Six Spanish 1000cc Extreme Championship Noyes on Front Row at Valencia American Kenny Noyes will start fourth on the front row in the penultimate round of the Spanish 1000cc Extreme Championship in Valencia on Sunday. D´Antin Kawaski´s Xavier Fores took the pole in 1´35.132 by the narrowest of margins over Carmelo Morales (L´Oreal Yamaha), with championship leader Jose Luis Cardoso (Blusens Suzuki) third and Noyes (Motorrad Suzuki) fourth. Two tenths of a second covered the front row and the top eleven riders were covered by a single second. Noyes is currently fifth, eight points back Bernat Martinez (T.B. Yamaha) who starts fifth. “We have a good pace on the race tire, but I got into turn one just a little too conservatively and lost almost three tenths, which was too much to get back,” said Noyes.
