After the four days of testing last week, on the Spanish circuit Ricardo Tormo of Valencia, the technicians of FB Corse and ORAL have come back to Italy with an important amount of data, acquired after this first contact in the circuit. Finished this first step, it has started an important phase for the FB01: the elaboration of the data and the development of the bike. All the team’s staff, in partnership with the technicians of Oral Engineering, are working during these days to analyze the data acquired during the Spanish test. In this test, McCoy has ridden the bike with a very basic set up, without electronic aid, with the purpose to understand the mechanical characteristics of the engine and the chassis. The lap times, recorded in Valencia, in this first phase of testing don’t have at the moment real meaning as there is a lot of technical data to analyze. Despite being the first contact with the asphalt, the behavior of the FB01 has satisfied both Garry and the technicians, showing a good mechanical reliability. The program of the FB Corse Team, is to continue testing during these next weeks on the circuit of Misano, to work in the development and set up of the bike. The team would like to thank their partners and collaborators that have supported them for this first appearance, and the already big number of fans that, from everywhere, manifest their interest.
