‘Vanishing Species’ Anchors Kids’ Corral at Suzuki Big Kahuna Danville, VA (July 8, 2009) – The “Kids’ Corral” entertainment area for children at the tenth Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals presented by Dunlop Tires and Makita will again be anchored by Larry Wallach’s Vanishing Species displays – just another of the family-friendly features of the August 14-16 weekend at VIRginia International Raceway. Joining the Big Kahuna double-header Superbike races, the Kids’ Corral gives young guests something interesting to do if they’re not captivated by the sounds and sights of America’s best superbike racers as they wail around VIR’s 2.25-mile North Course. With Larry Wallach’s Vanishing Species displays as the focus, off-track activities will keep virtually everyone entertained and charmed. Vanishing Species is an animal preservation organization and educational program founded to teach children more about the world of nature through interactive, hands-on experiences. Vanishing Species is providing a variety of baby animals from endangered species, including possibly orangutan babies, lion, tiger and polar bear cubs, plus more. “We always strive to provide something for everyone, even the youngest fans,” says event promoter Cameron Gray. “Adding Vanishing Species to our Kids’ Corral was a huge crowd-pleaser last year: we listened to guests’ comments and we plan on making it even more fun for everyone in 2009.” Providing more than racing for fans, the 2009 Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals promises multiple big-screen television monitors so guests won’t miss any action, bigger and better vendor displays and fun and games with a special section for children in the infield, live music and more. Spectator tickets for the Big Kahuna are selling faster than ever. Make sure you aren’t disappointed and place your order now at www.moto1usa.com or by calling (303) 377-3278.
