Fielding a trio of California natives; Bobby Fong (Stockton, Calif.) and Michael Beck (Simi Valley, Calif.) in AMA Pro Daytona SportBike and Joey Pascarella (Vacaville, Calif.) in AMA Pro SuperSport, Crozier Roberson Motorsports is ready for another spectacular weekend of racing. One of the most exciting races of the year, the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix features AMA Pro Racing on the same program as the World Championship MotoGP event. “This is one of the most exciting races of the year,” says Bobby Fong, who took a 2nd and a 3rd last weekend at Mid-Ohio. “This event boasts the best racers in the world and it is incredible to be on the same program with them. The crowd is huge and that makes it doubly exciting. I took 10th last year. This time out, I fully intend to put my DNA Energy Drink Ducati on the podium. My bike is definitely hooked up and I know we can do it.” Equally as motivated to do well, is Fong’s teammate Michael Beck. “Laguna is a great track and I am excited to be going there again this year. “I took a 12th place finish last season and I certainly intend to better that this time out. We had a mechanical problem last weekend, but the crew is busy fixing it and we will be good to go come race time. This event only features one Daytona SportBike round, not the normal two we race at most tracks. This means you only have one chance to do well and I plan to make the most of it.” “This will be the first race that I don’t have to worry about points,” says newly crowned AMA SuperSport West Champion Joey Pascarella. I can put everything into winning and that will be really cool. I love racing at Laguna.
