Yamaha Champions Riding School set for return at New Jersey Motorsports Park

Scott Russell, Larry Pegram headline instruction staff; 29 dates scheduled

MILLVILLE, N.J. – Yamaha Motor Corporation and the Yamaha Champions Riding School have entered into a partnership with New Jersey Motorsports Park.

The Yamaha Champions Riding School, formerly operated at Miller Motorsports Park, provides students with two and three-day classes that feature the techniques necessary to increase the joy and safety of motorcycling.

Lead instructors Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will be joined by two-wheel heroes Scott Russell and Larry Pegram.

Students at the school can plan on at-track housing and group dinners as YCRS nurtures a sense of community. This extends far beyond the course into track days, overseas tours, and online support through webinars, Smart TV episodes, travel schools and FasterSafer.com.

There are 29 YCRS dates scheduled at the Millville, N.J. facility for the 2014 season.

“Yamaha has a long standing commitment of supporting rider training and safety and it is our belief that Yamaha Champions Riding School is key to accomplishing this goal. The skills Nick Ienatsch and his team of instructors instill in their students are invaluable to becoming safer motorcyclists.”

Every student at the Yamaha Champions Riding School will have the best bikes Yamaha has to offer at their disposal with the four-time AMA Superbike Championship winning R1 and AMA Sportbike Championship winning R6 leading the charge.

Students will also have access to the all-new FZ-09 and perennial fan favorite FZ1.

“We’re very pleased to announce this great partnership with the Yamaha Champions Riding School,” NJMP general manager/COO Brad Scott said. “To add such a renowned program to New Jersey Motorsports Park’s schedule is very exciting for everyone involved. We can’t wait to get started.”
