Edie Racing Team Adds “Management Director”

Warman, Saskatchewan, Canada: Edie Racing team owner Devin Edie announced today that Shawn Finn has joined the team as its management director, to oversee the management and marketing efforts of the Edie Racing Team as well as team rider and 2011 Canadian Superbike Pro Rookie of the Year, 17-year-old Bodhi Edie.

“We are very pleased to have Shawn Finn join our team,” said Devin Edie. “His experience and growing knowledge of our sport makes him an ideal fit to our team as we continue to expand and develop Bodhi and Edie Racing.”

“I am very excited to have Shawn come on board and help with the management and marketing aspects of our team,” said Bodhi Edie. “We have known each other for a few years now and all of us are excited to expand the Edie Racing program allowing us to continue to be fighting for top spot.”

“I’m looking forward to taking on this new challenge and working with one of Canada’s rising young racing talents,” said Finn. “Our aim is to continue to build consistency and depth for Edie Racing allowing Bodhi to continue to mature as a rider and to be in a position to win races.”

Bodhi Edie began racing Canadian Superbike (CSBK) as a pro rider at the age of 15 on a Honda CBR600RR in 2011 earning CSBK Pro Rookie of the year. Graduating to a BMW S1000RR for 2012, Edie Racing’s privateer effort earned a 5th in the CSBK championship with his first Pro Superbike podium finish as well as winning Utah Sportbike Association’s (UtahSBA) King of the Mountain and Open Superstock races at Miller Motorsports Park. Bodhi divided his 2013 racing efforts between selected UtahSBA and WERA events at Miller Motorsports Park, winning multiple UtahSBA races and earning two WERA podiums, as well as competing in the last half of the CSBK Championship earing his first Pro Superbike win. For 2014 Bodhi Edie and Edie Racing are eager to continue to challenge for race wins.
