Competitors using EBC Brakes in the Buell SuperSport Twins (SST) and the BMW GrandSport Twins (GST) will receive $200 for first place, $150 for second place and $100 for third place and riders in the Sport Twins class will receive $150 for first, $100 for second and $50 for third. “We are definitely excited to be part of this new series,” says EBC Brakes’ US Tech and Racing representative Gary Gallagher. “It has an excellent roster of riders, is extremely professional and well run. We have always enjoyed working with Roger Edmondson in the past and are looking forward to continuing our relationship for many years.” Opening their doors in 1978, EBC Brakes has grown from an importer distributing products from a single van to a multi-national company employing over 400 staff with manufacturing in three countries and worldwide sales in excess of $100 million. The product range comprises brake discs and disc brake pads for motorcycles, all terrain vehicles (ATV or Quads), mountain bikes, go karts (or shifter karts) and automobiles. “We are pleased to have EBC Brakes as one of our contingency sponsors,” says Roger Edmonson, President of Grand-Am. “They are a first rate company and fit right in with our ideals and goals.”
