DUCATI TO SUPPORT CANADIAN ROAD RACERS WITH CONTINGENCY Cupertino, CA April 28th, 2006 – Ducati North America announces further support for Canadian Ducati racers who are participating in the Parts Canada Road Race Nationals. The total funds posted are $20,000* (CdN) to the Canadian Thunder class, which includes air-cooled twin cylinder motorcycles from Ducati, BMW and Buell. The program boasts $2,000 per national race date at seven events plus a Grand Championship bonus of $6,000 to the series winner on a Ducati. Three models of motorcycles are eligible: 2004 – 2006 SS1000, 2006 Monster S2R1000 and the retro styled 2006 Sport Classic models. “We’re pleased to offer these funds to the Ducati racers participating in the Canadian Thunder Series” said Kevin Davis, Canadian Sales and Marketing Manager. “Robert Trottier and Derek Vammus have been our perennial top riders but we’ve yet to write that bonus check for the 1st overall Grand Championship.
