CVMA’s Winter Series Kicks Into Gear This Weekend, September 27th and 28th.

It’s the first day of fall, and as most race clubs across the country are coming to the end of their 2014 schedules, Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association is just about to launch into the first round of their seven-race 2014/2015 Winter Series.

“This is our fifth season,” says CVMA’s Dustin Coyner. “We’re constantly refining and improving the club based on rider feedback, and we’re looking forward to our best and most exciting season yet.”

Racing action resumes at the 2.68-mile, 17-turn circuit in Desert Center, CA, this coming weekend, September 27 and 28. The event will play host to 13 races on both Saturday and Sunday, with the addition of three “Shootout” sprints on Sunday. With the addition of the SRA Sidecars, we’ll have a total of 31 races over the course of the weekend. That’s a packed schedule, and with that many races to choose from, competitors are bound to find multiple classes to race in, insuring their weekend is spent riding, not waiting.

In addition to a jam-packed double-header schedule, CVMA also offers Saturday and Sunday morning practice sessions, with qualifying sessions on Saturday. CVMA is also pleased to welcome competitors from both MRA and AFM by offering free reciprocity.
