CHARLESTOWN, NH – Barry Cuda Richmond, 22, died unexpectedly in an accident at his parents’ home on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003. He was born in Claremont on March 31, 1981, the son of Bruce S. and Nancy (Rolfe) Richmond and had resided in Charlestown for the past 20 years. He graduated from Baran Institute of Technology in Windsor, Conn., with honors in 2001 as an ASE certified auto mechanic. For the past four racing seasons, he was a cornerworker at NHIS in Loudon. He was a lifelong aficionado of NASCAR racing and enjoyed studying both old and new tracks, drivers and cars. He took great pride in the fact that he was named after the first car his father owned. His surviving family includes his parents, Bruce and Nancy of Charlestown; his brother, Adrian S. Richmond of Charlestown, currently serving in the U.S. Army Reserves stationed in Kuwait; his companion, Paulsy Slavin of Charlestown. He will be missed by his family and friends.
