Former racer and track day rider Doug McCracken, of Toccoa, Georgia won $300 worth of Lucas Oil Products in a Roadracing World Contest. The contest, featured in Roadracing World magazine as part of Elena Myers’ “Girl Racer” column and on Roadracingworld.com, ended January 31. McCracken took his winning as an opportunity to give back to the sport by auctioning his prize on eBay to raise money for the Roadracing World Action Fund. McCracken said, “When I first found out I won this drawing the first thing that came to my mind was this was a great opportunity to raise some money for the Roadracing World Action Fund. The Action Fund has saved so many people over the years and after seeing a lot of wrecks first-hand I could not think of anything better that do with this opportunity than to use it for the cause. We should all be very grateful with what the Roadracing World Action Fund and the people behind it have done over the years to protect the riders in the sport we all love so much.
