The $400 million world-class sports and entertainment complex opened in November 2012, just in time to host the return of the world’s most popular motorsport, Formula 1® racing, in Austin. In 2013, the Circuit has hosted successful GRAND-AM™ and MotoGP™ racing with more than 131,000 fans attending the recently completed Red Bull MotoGP of The Americas event held April 19-21.
