CCS Holding Double-Header Event This Coming Weekend At Blackhawk Farms Raceway

CCS Double Header at Blackhawk Farms Raceway This Coming Weekend

This coming weekend, July 28-29, Championship Cup Series (CCS) will host racing at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, Illinois. The track is located 2 hours northwest of Chicago, 15 minutes off of I-90. Racers will take to the 1.95 mile, seven turn course as they compete in a wide variety of classes both days.

This will be a twin sprint event with a total of 33 races taking place over Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, the Learning Curves Race School will host new racer licensing school on Saturday. Gates open Friday at 5 p.m. and CCS registration/tech wil be open Friday from 5-7 p.m. and resume Saturday morning at 7 a.m.

Starting on Friday, tickets for a weekend pass are only $35, reduced to $25 on Saturday, and just $15 on Sunday. The gate will be operated 24 hours.

The American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) is the parent organization to the Championship Cup Series (CCS), the largest amateur motorcycle road racing organization in the United States issuing over 2800 licenses per year. ASRA promotes eight AMA sanctioned Sprint Series and seven AMA sanctioned Team Challenge road racing events for 2018. The CCS Series sanctions 40 events at popular tracks around the United States, including Daytona International Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Homestead Miami Speedway, Road America, New Jersey Motorsports Park and Virginia International Raceway among other fine venues.
