Camping Sold Out for Barber Vintage Festival; Advance Tickets Still Available Birmingham, Ala. (Sept 25) Camping for next month’s Barber Vintage Festival presented by Triumph Dealers of North America is sold out, event officials announced today. In just its 8th year, the Barber Vintage Festival has grown into one of the largest vintage motorcycle gatherings in the country. Advance tickets still remain for the 2012 edition, which is set for Oct. 12-14. “The growth of the Barber Vintage Festival continues to amaze all of those involved,” said Rick Humphrey, vice president of ZOOM Motorsports, the exclusive event promoter at Barber Motorsports Park. “The fan response, the response by the vendors, as well as the swap meet participants has been through the roof. Last year’s event was tremendous and this year is shaping up to be even bigger and better.” In an effort to assist fans still hoping to camp for the event, a list of campgrounds around Barber Motorsports Park can be found at barbermotorsports.com. Advance tickets also can be purchased at barbermotorsports.com. Daily tickets for the Barber Vintage Festival are available beginning at $20 in advance or $40 for the three-day weekend. All tickets include free paddock access and fans are encouraged to purchase in advance, as prices will increase the week of the event. Throughout the weekend, kids 12 and under receive free general admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Adding to the weekend activities, the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum will feature extended hours, special displays and technical seminars. Tickets to the Museum are available separately from Barber Vintage Festival tickets and can be purchased inside.
