California State Championship Happening This Coming Weekend At Las Vegas Classic Course

California State Championship Happening This Coming Weekend, November 3-4, 2012 with WERA West

The California State “Best of the West” Championship presented by San Diego BMW Motorcycles is building up to an exciting conclusion this coming weekend, running in conjunction with the finale for WERA West at Las Vegas Classic Course in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Individual class championships and overall top three payouts totaling approximately $33,780 in prizes make this a fantastic opportunity for the racers. Overall champion payout sponsors are: Texas Tornado Boot Camp, Yamaha Champions Riding School, GPR Stabilizer, Socal Supermoto, Feel Like A Pro, and Cycle Pirates.

A practice day on Friday, November 2 is being held by Racer’s Edge Performance, sign ups available here: www.racersedgeperformance.com . There will be a “Best Paint/Livery” contest on Saturday, November 3, and with a cash prize for 1st-3rd, winners will be announced on Sunday, November 4, at the rider’s meeting. There will be an awards ceremony at the track following the conclusion of the races on Sunday, for awarding all trophies and prizes.

The state championship is open to any racer 14 years or older with a valid race license from any race organization in 2012. Experts can compete for the overall and individual class championships. Novices will be competing for Top Novice.

Gates open each day at 6:00 a.m. Weekend entry into the event is only $20 on Friday or Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Tickets are good for the entire weekend, and there’s a special Military and public service discount of 50% off admission with valid ID. Kids 12 and under are free.
