WERA SCHEDULE CHANGES Please take note that the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series originally scheduled for Nelson Ledges on July 25/26 has been moved up to the June 13/14 weekend. This change also impacts Round #5 of the Bridgestone/WERA National Endurance Series/Michelin National Challenge and North Central Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series event originally scheduled for Bluegrass Motorsports Park in Kentucky. This new facility will not be up and running by the June 13/14 weekend and the event has been canceled. WERA is looking at trying to re-schedule the Pirelli/WERA North Central Sportsman event at Bluegrass for later in the season”¦stay tuned”¦.. that news will be released as soon as we have it. WERA Motorcycle Roadracing is proud to announce that they will assist AMA Racing with the administration of the road-racing portion of the AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championship, scheduled for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days July 24-26 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, the proceeds of which support the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, has been a very special event for the AMA, and WERA Motorcycle Roadracing is pleased to support this one-of-a-kind event. We’re also happy to announce that WERA vintage racers will be awarded points for this event in comparable classes. A class list, supplemental rules and registration information for the AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championships are available at AMARacing.com and AmericanMororcyclist.com.
