Italian MotoGP star Max Biaggi, 33, suffered multiple fractures to his left leg today while riding near Rome, according to the BBC.

Biaggi, who finished third in the 2004 MotoGP World Championship, is expected to team with American Nicky Hayden on the official HRC-backed Repsol Honda squad for 2005.
