KAWASAKI AND ATTACK PERFORMANCE ANNOUNCE EXPANDED RELATIONSHIP Attack will sell race kit parts and support Team Green™ road racing activity Irvine, Calif. Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A and Attack Performance have successfully teamed on the nation’s competition courses to bring excitement to AMA road racing fans during the past two seasons. The relationship will be expanded in 2006 as Attack becomes an official marketer of Kawasaki-sanctioned race kit parts to owners of Ninja® ZX™-6RR and Ninja ZX-10R models. Individuals who road race under the Team Green™ banner will also be turning to Attack for technical questions related to the equipment, according to Reid Nordin, Kawasaki’s Team Green Manager. “The staff at Attack Performance has proved they have the qualifications needed to help keep Team Green’s road racers headed towards the podium,” said Nordin. He indicated that Attack will provide frontline technical assistance to the Team Green racers in much the same way as Kawasaki personnel do with those who participate in the motocross program. The Team Green effort, recently expanded to include road racing, has posted $12 million in contingency potential as part of the company’s Race Reward Program. Attack Performance, based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., will primarily use its website, www.attackperformance.com to display and list the race parts that will be available for each of the Kawasaki Ninja motorcycles. Nordin said this new arrangement is intended to enhance the process of building a track-ready Ninja for the many privateers who will be competing in the coming year. He also said Attack will market Kawasaki accessory kit parts in conjunction with selling their own equipment. Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) markets and sells at wholesale Kawasaki motorcycles, ATVs, personal watercraft and utility vehicles through a network of more than 1,500 independent retailers, with an additional 8,400 retailers specializing in power products and general purpose engines. KMC and its affiliates employ nearly 2,400 people in the United States, with more than 350 of them located at the Irvine, California headquarters. Kawasaki’s tagline, “Let the good times roll.™”, is recognized worldwide and the brand is aggressively carrying its heritage of leading-edge power, performance and exhilaration into the 21st century.
