Iconic Venue Will be Ready for Fans and Competitors in the Aftermath of Hurricane Ian; Free Admission to Area’s Largest Motorcycle Marketplace; Two-Wheeled Racing Action to Be Showcased on Daytona’s Iconic 3.56-Mile Road Course
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 5, 2022) – Fall Cycle Scene Presented By Monster Energy, Daytona International Speedway’s 30th annual Biketoberfest® event, WILL return as planned Oct. 13-16, as recovery efforts from Hurricane Ian will not keep the track and community from welcoming fans, competitors and enthusiasts alike.
The World Center of Racing dealt with sustained winds and heavy rains as Hurricane Ian moved across the Florida peninsula, but track staffers have been working around the clock to make sure the venue is ready to go. The biker’s paradise will be open Thursday through Sunday (Oct. 13-16) for four days of exciting activities for motorcycle enthusiasts – both on the iconic 3.51-mile Daytona Road Course as well as in the popular Motorcycle Marketplace.
During Fall Cycle Scene Presented By Monster Energy, guests can watch the two-wheel, on-track action all weekend long plus enjoy live entertainment. See the Championship Cup Series (CCS) on the road course with the 39th Annual Race of Champions AMA Road Race as well as the American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA), and the Bagger Racing League.
When not watching the action on the track, fans are encouraged to check out Motorcycle Marketplace, located in the Midway outside the frontstretch (parallel with International Speedway Blvd), which will be brimming with activity. The Motorcycle Marketplace provides a one-stop shopping destination with everything from the nation’s top motorcycle parts to Hot Leathers and Harley Davidson fashion, apparel, accessories, aftermarket vendors, plus many more displays and activations. Admission is FREE to Motorcycle Marketplace.
Infield RV camping for Fall Cycle Scene is available for purchase, starting at $140 (which includes the RV site, one 4-day Infield Admission and a Tow Vehicle pass). Additional infield admissions for the four-day weekend are just $60. Bike trailer parking in a secured area outside the infield beginning on Thursday, Oct. 13, is also available on for $25.
Single day infield admissions are also offered (Thursday $20, Friday $25, Saturday, $25 and Sunday $25). Infield admissions allow fans to see the riders on the 31-degree of banking at Daytona International Speedway for four days of thrilling action from the infield, plus get access to the UNOH Fanzone and the garage area.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – (Oct. 5, 2022) – Businesses that traditionally host guests are looking forward to the 30th Annual Biketoberfest® motorcycle rally scheduled for Oct. 13-16. Clean-up following the recent storm is well underway with many campgrounds, accommodations, restaurants, and event facilities preparing to host aspects of the four-day event schedule. With power and Internet restoration underway and water levels receding in many key venues, many local businesses are already up and running, with more coming online daily.
Changing Day by Day: “Our community has been greatly impacted by the storm, some areas more than others,” said Lori Campbell-Baker, Executive Director for the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Area (CVB). “We are encouraged by the daily progress made by our local citizens and municipalities in the recovery. The destination has been working around the clock.”

While the status of individual properties is changing rapidly as power and Internet are restored and clean-up continues, venues such as world-famous Main Street, Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona in Ormond Beach and Daytona International Speedway will be moving forward with planned events. Biketoberfest® visitors are asked to respectfully avoid areas that might not be fully recovered and to ride with extra care during their stay.
Where to Stay: Visitors with lodging reservations are encouraged to contact their property directly to confirm their reservation status. Many of the properties that area currently unable to host guests are proactively reaching out to fellow industry partners in order to accommodate event visitors. Visitors who haven’t yet secured a reservation are asked to visit Biketoberfest.org and DaytonaBeach.com for lodging information and event updates.
Positive Economic Impacts: Many local businesses and employees rely on the economic impact that is generated from Biketoberfest® and other tourism-related activities, explains Campbell Baker. “According to data from Mid-Florida Marketing & Research, visitors to Volusia County spent $5.5 billion in our local (non-accommodations) businesses last year alone. Our tourism industry generated more than 52,000 jobs and pumped $700 million worth of payroll into our residents’ households.”
