Garrett Carter, 15, leaves for Spain to start his new season with Ecurie Sports Competition to compete in the Spanish National Series (CEV). Garrett will run the full CEV schedule in what is regarded as the toughest 125 series in the world – producing the likes of Sete Gibernau, Kenny Roberts Jr. and Luis D’Antin. The first race of the season is May 7th and 8th at the famed Moto GP track – Albacete, north of Madrid. Garrett spent some time testing with the team at Albacete this March and is looking forward to getting back on the bike at a track familiar to him. Garrett will also be racing a full program stateside in the National USGPRU series. He will be riding the teams newly acquired Aprilia 125 RS. The team will have the benefit of AMA 250GP winning tuner Rocky Stargel at the season opener in Jennings, Florida. For team information and Garrett’s reports see www.garrettcarter.com
