        Eitan Butbul has been a fan of motorcycle road racing for decades, traveling from his home in Southern California to MotoGP races in Europe several times a year. But he’s always wanted to do more than just sit in the grandstands. With his business doing well, Butbul reached out to LCR Honda Racing and started providing a modest amount of sponsorship to one of the most highly regarded satellite operations in the MotoGP paddock.

        A few years later, Butbul now owns his own Moto2 team, American Racing Moto2; manages American Joe Roberts, who races for the team; and has his sights on becoming deeply involved in the premier class of the sport.

        “If you told me last year at this time, ‘Next year you’re going to own the team and you’re going to manage it,’ I would have told you, ‘You’re dreaming and I’m dreaming,’ says Butbul, But luck sometimes surprises you.”
