New stars for the 2017 Rookies Cup – 13 race season 11

Three days of excitement in Guadix, Spain for the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Selection Event produced 11 names, riders invited to join the Cup for the 2017 season.

117 riders from 32 nations were originally invited and over three days they demonstrated their abilities with the invitation list announced on Thursday evening.

The provisional, 13 race, 2017 calendar is also announced with two races each weekend except for Misano where there is a single race.
