Campbell, CA, March 11th- Sammy Halbert, two-time 2011 Daytona Flat Track champion, will be testing Monday March, 11, at Infineon Raceway with GP Bike Parts Racing. Trading in the dirt for asphalt, Sammy is preparing for his debut in the XR-1200 class at the West Coast Moto Jam, for this year’s AMA Pro Road Racing round two. “We are very excited to have Sammy test with us. We have a lot of fellow successful dirt riders on the team, like our rider Tyler O’Hara, who can definitely shed some light on transitioning from dirt to asphalt. We hope to help him as much as we can,” comments Ameen Sajjadi, team owner.
