AHRMA Announces New Road Race Director

(January 1, 2024, Knoxville, TN) The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) is pleased to announce the selection of Leasha Overturf as AHRMA Road Race Director effective immediately.

Overturf, who has been passionate about motorcycles since she was a child, has been an active road racing competitor with AHRMA since 2012, and was named AHRMA’s Lady Road Racer of the Year in 2016.

She has worked as a producer in the commercial advertising industry for more than 30 years and brings strong management and budgeting skills to her new role with AHRMA.

“Managing AHRMA’s dynamic road racing program requires a special skill set and Leasha’s professional background is a perfect fit for AHRMA,” said Carl Anderson, Chairman of the AHRMA Board of Trustees.  “Plus, as a long time AHRMA member and road racing competitor she already knows the AHRMA vibe that makes our events so unique and special.”

“I love people and problem solving.  And I love to be part of a team,” Overturf said. “The idea of bringing everyone together at each race and being at the ready to handle any situation is very exciting to me. I will approach the job with humble ease and creative spirit working in tandem with my new AHRMA team-mates. Every decision I make will be in the best interest of the organization and the safety of all involved.”
