DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (April 7, 2026) – Progressive American Flat Track, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, has named Brad Sweet as Grand Marshal of the Silver Dollar Short Track at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California, on May 2, 2026.
A Grass Valley, California native, Sweet won five consecutive World of Outlaws championships from 2019 to 2023 and ranks among the series’ all-time winningest drivers. His resume includes victories in marquee events such as the Knoxville Nationals and multiple Kings Royal wins.
Sweet is also the co-founder of High Limit Racing, where he claimed the series championship in 2024 before stepping away from full-time competition following the 2025 season.
The event carries added significance as Sweet is a co-owner of Silver Dollar Speedway alongside Kyle Larson and Colby Copeland. He will take part in pre-race ceremonies as Progressive American Flat Track returns to one of the West Coast’s premier dirt track venues.
Fans will also be treated to high-flying action from the Trashed Kids FMX stunt show, along with bar-banging racing from the Mission AFT SuperTwins class. Reigning KICKER AFT Singles winner and Northern California native Kage Tadman is set to return in search of a repeat victory.
