KTM ANNOUNCES 2016 RC CUP SCHEDULE AT SEVEN ROUNDS OF MOTOAMERICA SERIES

MURRIETA, Calif. (November 20, 2015) – KTM North America, Inc. is pleased to announce the 2016 KTM RC Cup Schedule in conjunction with the AMA MotoAmerica Racing Series. For its second season, the KTM RC Cup schedule features seven rounds at premier road racing venues across the U.S., beginning April 15-17, 2016.

The KTM RC Cup Series will make two new stops in 2016, including Road Atlanta and Virginia International Raceway. The RC Cup will also return to four locations that served on the series’ inaugural lineup in 2015: Road America, Barber Motorsports Park, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and New Jersey Motorsports Park. The seventh round will be announced soon.

The KTM RC Cup Series features riders between the ages of 14 and 22-years-old holding an AMA Superstock Limited license. All riders must race aboard a 2015 or 2016 KTM RC 390 Cup Racebike. These motorcycles are designed as racing competition bikes (not street-legal) and have been prepared by KTM with over 40 PowerParts and other enhancements to increase racing performance.
