Oliver Fastest In 250cc GP Practice At VIR, Filice Crashes

Rich Oliver was fastest in 250cc Grand Prix practice at VIR Friday, recording his fastest time in the first of two sessions.

Chuck Sorensen was fastest in the second session ahead of Oliver and Jimmy Filice; Filice crashed late in the session in turn one, when his Corbin Yamaha seized. Filice declined treatment at the track medical center but was later complaining of neck pain, nausea and dizziness and was taken to the local hospital by his father, to get precautionary X-rays.
