EBC BRAKES ANNOUNCES NEW TRACK REP FOR REMAINING 2002 AMA ROADRACE NATIONALS

EBC Brakes has appointed Andy “Woody” Deathridge as their AMA National Roadrace Track Rep for the remainder of the 2002 season.

Deathridge will provide EBC’s GFA HH “Kit” pads to all of our EBC Brakes-sponsored AMA National riders, and have pads available to sell to other riders running any 2002 AMA National road race.

Woody ( as his friends call him ) is AMA Superbike Rider #35, and currently lies 12th in AMA Superbike Points going into this weekend’s Road America AMA event.

You can find him in the AMA Paddock under a blue, 10′ x 15′ EBC Brakes tent.

“Woody has been an EBC Brakes Rider for over a decade. I’m happy to have him representing EBC Brakes at the Nationals” said EBC’s Garry Gallagher. “Having him at the AMA road races to take care of our National Riders allows me to spend more time with my family, and on the phones for EBC Brakes, Monday – Friday” continued Garry. “I’ll get to one more AMA National road race this season, at Laguna Seca in July, to work with Woody” said Gallagher.

Also representing EBC Brakes at four 2002 U.S. road race Nationals will be Greg Harrison and Loudon Motorsports. They will have EBC GFA-HH “Kit” pads available for sale at two WERA Nationals ( Summit Point, WV. Aug. 2 – 4
and Road Atlanta, GA. GNF Final, Oct. 23 – 27 ) and well as at two AMA Nationals (Mid Ohio, OH. July 26 – 28, and VIR, WV. August 9 – 11 )

Look for their huge, 45′ long red “Loudon Motorsports” trailer. Ask for Chuck or Greg.

EBC BRAKES POSTS $3000 CASH BOUNTY

EBC Brakes U.S. road racing Dept coordinator, Garry Gallagher, announces a $3000 total cash posting for two WERA National Endurance events.

Events posted will be WERA National Endurance round #7 at Summit Point, WV. on August 3rd, and the GNF Final Endurance round #9, at Road Atlanta, GA. on October 25th.

Cash Postings will be $1000 CASH for Overall Race Win for each event, as well as $500 CASH for the Middleweight Superbike (600) class per both event dates.

TOTAL CASH POSTING = $3000

To qualify for this EBC Brakes Cash Bounty, the WERA Endurance Team must run EBC Brake Pads, and display EBC Brakes decals on both sides of fairing, and a small EBC Brakes decal on the lower front of the wind screen.

“It’s no secret that teams running another brand of brakes are dominating the WERA National Endurance Series in 2002. EBC Brakes is posting these CASH contingencies to encourage our EBC Brakes sponsored teams to run, and WIN, these two WERA Endurance events.” said EBC’s Garry Gallagher.

EBC Brakes sponsored teams Loudon Motorsports and SBR Racing are expected to compete, as well as long time WERA competitors, Team Extreme. This Cash Posting is available to any and ALL teams running EBC Brakes.

For more information contact Garry Gallagher, [email protected], phone/FAX (425) 485-7610.

(Editorial Note: The winning team referred to by Gallagher is Team Vesrah Suzuki, which has taken the overall win in all four WERA National Endurance Series events held so far this season.)
