Updated Post: Jimmy Filice Transported From Mid-Ohio For X-rays

Corbin Racing’s Jimmy Filice was transported from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course to a local hospital Saturday morning suffering with neck and back pain.

Filice crashed his Kawasaki ZX-6R in the turn 11-12 area of the Mid-Ohio track during Supersport practice.

Filice, age 39, is a three-time AMA 250cc Grand Prix Champion.

Filice called his team from Mansfield General Hospital at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time to tell them he was OK and to get his bike ready for Supersport qualifying.
