Ulrich was promoted to the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army on October 1, 2002. Ulrich, a 1999 honors graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, is currently stationed in Germany working in electronic warfare supporting 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division and is scheduled to return to the United States in December. She will start the 8-month Captain’s Career Course for Military Intelligence, specializing in Counter Intelligence, at Fort Huachuca, Arizona in January. Prior to her current assignment in Germany, Ulrich was deployed in Kosovo. Prior to attending West Point, Ulrich also served as a scorekeeper for her younger brother, racer Chris Ulrich, at CMRRA events.
