WERA West Switches To One-day Race Format For Remainder Of 2004

WERA West Roadracing 2004 Format Change


The remaining WERA West Roadracing Sportsman series events will go to a one day sixteen class race format beginning August 1st at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. The Saturday before the Sunday Sportsman Series races will become a track day put on by Fastrack Riders.

The schedule for the balance of the season is:

Sunday, August 1st @ Buttonwillow Raceway Park

Sunday, August 29th @ Las Vegas Motor Speedway 2.3 mile Interior Road Course. Air cooled garages will be available for all riders.

Sunday, October 3rd @ Las Vegas Motor Speedway on the exterior Classic Course. The same layout used for the May WERA West event.

Fastrack Riders has added the following track days to the schedule before each remaining WERA West event.

Friday & Saturday, July 30th & 31st @ Buttonwillow Raceway Park

Saturday, August 28th @ LVMS Interior Road Course

Saturday, October 2nd @ LVMS on the exterior Classic Course. Same layout at used at the May WERA West event.
