Teenage Racer Carter Headed For Spanish National Series In 2005

American teen Garrett Carter plans to contest the Spanish CEV National 125cc Grand Prix Series in 2005, following an initial foray into the series last weekend at Jerez.

The field of 70 qualifiers was split into two races, and Carter finished 15th in the second, consolation race, passing five riders and improving his times by six seconds a lap.

His father, racer Stuart Carter, is now talking to several European teams to find Garrett a ride.
