New Alan-Wilson-designed Road Course Being Planned In North Carolina

A new Alan-Wilson-designed motorsports country club called High Rock International Raceway is being planned in Rowan County, North Carolina, between Greensboro and Charlotte.

Developers David Risdon and Frank McGuire are currently demolishing a 400,000-square-foot building that was once part of the now-closed North Carolina Finishing Mill and seeking permits from local government officials to begin construction of a dedicated road course on the 200-plus-acre site as early as this fall.
