The weather forecast for Saturday’s AMA Superbike and Formula Xtreme Daytona 200 by Honda races at Daytona International Speedway is very good. According to www.weather.com, there is zero chance of precipitation at the track with an expected high of 76 degrees F, the hottest it has been for the AMA riders during this event. However, the forecast is calling for high winds, which could affect how riders set up their gearing for the run to the start/finish line. Practice does not start at Daytona until 9:30 a.m. local time. Superbike and Formula Xtreme will each have a 30-minute practice session, before the 15-lap AMA Superbike race’s scheduled start time of 11:15 a.m. Eastern Time. Pre-race ceremonies for the 68-lap Daytona 200 by Honda Formula Xtreme race should start at 1:30 p.m., followed by the sighting lap at 1:45 p.m. and the race start at 2:00 p.m.
