Auction To Benefit The Late Jim Lester’s Children Being Organized For June 11 At Loudon

This is to request a donation for an upcoming benefit auction for the children of racer Jim Lester (CCS #7). Jim was involved in a fatal auto accident on April 27 in Florida. He leaves his wife Karin and two children Jimmy age 8 and Rachel age 6. A benefit auction has been set up for Saturday June 11 at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire. This is in conjunction with a LRRS race which Jim was a big part of during his racing career. Jim raced with many organizations, CCS, FUSA and AMA but LRRS was where he started and he won many regional championships. Jerry Wood will be the auctioneer for this event and it is hoped that we can get numerous items to help raise money for Jimmy’s kids. All items can either be shipped to the address below or if you plan to be at the races that weekend can be dropped off in the Penguin Garage (north garage one). I would like to thank you in advance for any help that you can give this worthy benefit. I can be contacted at [email protected] or 508-942-4649 if you have any questions.
