American Honda’s Jake Zemke won his fourth consecutive AMA Formula Xtreme race of the 2005 season Sunday at Pikes Peak International Raceway. Zemke’s teammate Miguel Duhamel stayed close to Zemke until the pair encountered lapped traffic and the gap between the two widened. Duhamel finished second on his CBR600RR. Attack Kawasaki’s Ben Attard came back from a mistake to finish third on his ZX-6RR MPTRacing.com Suzuki’s Danny Eslick was third when he crashed in the infield. Eslick was able to re-mount and re-join the race, eventually finishing fifth on his GSX-R600, behind Topline Racing Yamaha’s Chris Peris. Provisional AMA Formula Xtreme Race Results: 1.
