Due to Friday and Saturday night Drag races, our June 4th track day and our June 5th race day have been moved to the East track at Firebird International Raceway. Also, we have been informed that the Gila River Fire Dept. will be on site conducting spot checks of our racing pits. The Notice we received states, in part, that; * Each pit shall have a minimum of two (2) 5 lb. fire bottles suitable for the types of fuels and products in the pits. * Electrical cords shall be rated for outdoor use. * Barbeques shall be 10 feet from any combustibles and awnings. * Fire lanes shall be clear and unobstructed at all times. * Operators in violation of the Fire and Life Safety Codes will be shut down. As we have just received this information, it is our goal at CCS/SW is to give all of our track riders and racers as much advance notice to these changes as possible. See you at the track. Randy B. Stem CCS/SW Race Director
