Metzeler Tire has a new contingency program for Supermoto racers using Racetec Drift tires. Racers wanting to sign up for the program should go to: www.us.metzelermoto.com and register online. The brand new Racetec Drift tires will be available through Bloomington Powersports and Western States Performance Tires. The Drifts are priced excellently with the competition. Contingency certificates can be used like cash to purchase additional tires from the above suppliers, but please remember to use the “certs” within 90 days. Metzeler Racetec Drift tires have zero-degree radial belts and high-tech compounds specifically developed for maximum grip on pavement and dirt. The Racetec Drifts provide quick warm up in all weather conditions and unmatched traction on both dirt and dirty curves; Racetec Drift rubber has reduced dirt influence. They’re incorruptible. The Racetec tech includes increased rider feedback through a perfected profile and corpulent contact patch, each optimizing controllability. Carcass construction aids the drifting qualities of the Racetec Drifts, for fast feel and the comfort of control. Hard braking and hacking handling are addressed with smooth transitions through the Drift’s precise directional feedback. Additionally, the zero-degree belting acts as invisible tread beneath the Drift’s tacky, slick surface, providing self-damping and a wealth of grip. See you at the track!
