The set of Dainese leathers MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi crashed in during practice for this year’s German Grand Prix at Sachsenring will be auctioned off on www.ebay.com, and the funds will be supplied to the University of Padova to help fund a motorcycle rider safety research project, according to sources in Europe. Dainese will conduct the auction, which is set to run for seven days, starting October 27. You can go directly to the auction via this link: ~http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8714818786~ A worn set of Rossi’s leathers is rare. A crashed set of Rossi’s leathers is rarer, considering the man crashes very infrequently, only four times in 2005.
